LAUGH IT OFF

There's nothing particularly subtle about the cartoons in the SEP -- but they do provide plenty of chucklos and some bolly laughs. Some 1300 cartoons a year are published -- and this is the cream of the crop over a period of two years -- guaranteed to provide some 250 laughs. Many well-known cartoonists -- some less well known -- corny, yes, lots of them -- but today we are told that what this country needs is more corn.
