KIRKUS REVIEW

Picture story book about a tiger cub that wanted a mother, and tried to sell himself successively to an elephant, a crocodile, a monkey -- only to find he wasn't wanted. Then he found a tigress who wanted a cub, and, who liked all his qualification; The Hole Book idea is followed, with the little tiger's face showing through a hole in every page -- and a, toy book factor is involved in the luminosity of the raised figure, as described on the first page. Colored pictures by Keith Ward. Merchandise value.
