KIRKUS REVIEW

Time passer rather than real brainteaser in the story of an unmerry Christmas at a Texas dude ranch. The murder of an unwanted, obnoxious wife leads to worry and more murder, with scrambled family matters, drug smuggling, and hatred at the bottom of it. Characters and dialogue a cut above the plot which is thin.
