The Research Bureau of the Welfare Council and the WPA made a joint survey of problems of education, employment and leisure activities of the million young men and women of NYC. Though done in 1935, the findings are basically constructive, both in their revelation of all that is done along these lines -- and all that should be done to meet the emergency -- and the agencies at work.
