WORK ENDS AT NIGHTFALL

By

Publisher: Bobbs-Merrill

Seven patterns of life develop as seven women come together for dinner after business hours, and partly through shared experience and point of view, partly through soliloquy, partly through thought homeward bound, you get their problems and their attitude towards love, home, work, play, clothes. There seems no particular reason for the somewhat stylised verse form, which is a slight hurdle to thought. Smart, new, modern, pointed -- but not poetry.
