KIRKUS REVIEW

This knee length fantasy is about two little girls Monica and Gwynne, who follow their cat Tinker around the garden corner one day and have a series of topsy turvy adventures with the animals and a pixie in the forest. The cats who live in a tree house collect handkerchiefs brought to them by the crows. When one day the hankies disappear, there is a great row until Snow, the head cat says she has been sending them back and thinks they should rename their place ""the land of found handkerchiefs""- with a side agreement to have less of the kind of fights Monica and Gwynne have in the outer world. A milk toast palliative, there will be times when this may do the trick.
