Unlike Chet and David, who mean goodnight when they say it, Andrew and Craig take it as a starting point for pre-shuteye shenanigans--pillow fights and mildish mayhem. Periodically interrupted (""Oh, hello Dad. I didn't hear you come in""), younger Andrew outlasts Craig by telling him about an imaginary new neighbor, a delaying tactic designed to get Craig to play with him the next day. Brotherly love in bunk beds, with rumpled lines and flat washes conveying the scene. A plug for pleasant dreams.
