GRISELDA'S NEW YEAR

Middling low comedy about Griselda the goose's bungled New Year's resolutions. Griselda first resolves to be brave, an ideal her goosey logic soon reduces to getting up on the left side of the bed (because Grandfather Goose once told her that being brave is ""doing something I hate to do""). But as the ceiling slopes on that side she bumps her head, and ""Now I'm a brave goose with a pain on the left side of my head."" More disruptive are her attempts to ""make someone happy"" by hugging Brutus Lion though he wants to be left alone, shaving hirsute Morgan Goat's neck and head so he can see the New Year, and making a mess of Desdemona Dog's front door in the process of helping her paint her house. Whipped-up goose eggs.
