THE TEN MILLION by Mark Hellinger

THE TEN MILLION

By

Pub Date: Oct. 24th, 1934
Publisher: Farrar & Rinehart

Hellinger's daily human interest stories in book form -- rackets and racketeers, speakeasy tales, Broadway love, the underworld, Tex Guinan and Arnold Rothstein, short stories about those who work and live and love -- variations on old themes, usually with a twist at the end in the O. Henry vein rather than the Damon Runyon. Hellinger says ""And so ends another book of no particular consequence"". Easy reading, though in no way outstanding.
