WHITE CAPTIVE OF THE SIOUX

A rather dull, traditional story of pioneer captivity and escape centered on an orphaned boy's attempt to get to his brother in Missouri. Just a couple of days out of Fort Dearborn on a wagon train, Dave Cameron is abandoned, falls into Sioux hands. He goes through all the threats and narrow escapes, makes friends with one young Indian, enemy with another, discovers a white girl captive younger than himself and with her, finally escapes to join trappers heading down the Missouri River towards Independence.
