THE STORY OF WAR WEAPONS

By

Pub Date: July 25th, 1945
Publisher: Lippincott

Compact handbook, which suggests collating of superficial-encyclopedic details, scissors and paste method. High School level interest presumed, and sound enough in organization and development, for those who have some understanding of the scientific aspects and interest in the technical specifications. The illustrations are more like diagrams -- dull from any other angle. There's always an audience for a book on guns, and there's live current interest in weapons of warfare, which should have a background of historical knowledge. There's an interesting chapter on propaganda as a war weapon. Sales appeal in definite war-like jacket.
