KIRKUS REVIEW

Everyone will like this excellent study of what makes the wheels go round, in the public libraries. The average person, young or old, takes the libraries for granted, not realizing in any degree the enormous amount of machinery back of the smooth running service the public demands. This not only tells that behind the scenes story, but gives one a clearer idea of the facilities offered by public libraries, of ways in which greater and more intelligent use can be made of them. It should be a ""must book"" in every progressive school, where use of a public library is a vital tool.
