ROGER STAUBACH

Another spit-and-polish Sports Hero, Roger Staubach displays little individuality here, chiefly basking in the reflected glories of the United States Naval Academy and the formidable Dallas Cowboys. The conclusion, ""Roger was pleased with the way he had led the team to victory. He hoped Coach Landry was pleased, too. Maybe some day the coach would let him call his own plays,"" injects a note of unintended pathos into an account that's otherwise merely dull.
