KIRKUS REVIEW

Once again Saturnin Dax, and his aides de camp, pursue the kidnapping of three film stars- in Paris. What seems to be a question of ransom, for which the film producers are touched, turns out to be a personal matter as a clown has his laugh on someone else. Various underworld characters and gangs participate and several die before the return- undamaged- of the leading lady.... Fade out- you called it.
