Four romances lined up against a wartime background, as nurse Elizabeth is forced to leave a wounded American pilot, Kerry, in England to return to her dying father in America. She learns Kerry has not died, but is stagnating mentally on his home acres, becoming a moral and financial problem to his two sisters and brother. Elizabeth goes to take care of his younger sister, injured in an accident, and helps to rehabilitate Kerry. Through Elizabeth's decision, the two sisters and the brother find their loves, while Elizabeth battles successfully for Kerry's complete return to physical and mental health. Woman's market essentially, of good rental type.
