THE WISHING STARRS

A modern fairy tale with a poor little rich girl, a fatherless family whose mother marries a kind man with money and happy family monkeyshines. Lydia Starr, her brother twelve-year-old Rodd and Hot Shot, the baby, felt they had the loveliest and nicest mother in the world, but they were puzzled when Mother brought home a spoiled rich girl, Lorelly, motherless daughter of Dr. Walton for whom Mother did sewing. Lorelly is definitely a misfit at first, but soon becomes part of the happy family. And then Mother marries Dr. Walton -- the objections of the eldest Starr, Rodd, are overcome and the Walton-Starrs take off for the country. Good fun.
