Light and pleasant reading for the not-too-discriminating early teen age in a story of a New York glamour girl who showed the stuff that was in her when she had to be a housekeeper, cook and surgery assistant in a country doctor's office. Her father, a New York surgeon, has collapsed from overwork, and returns to the New England village of his childhood. The element of mystery and romance is added when a Nazi spy is caught in the village by a handsome F.B.I. agent, and Sandra lends a hand.
