A NEW ATLAS OF CHINA by Martha Rajchman

A NEW ATLAS OF CHINA

By

Publisher: John Day

Interesting, yes -- but in these days of rapidly shifting lines, who is going to want this somewhat unwieldy paper bound atlas of China, its land, air and sea routes. Once past the title (which is more limiting than the content), one finds that the whole West Pacific and Greater Pacific area is included. There are ten maps in all. There is an index for quick location of some of these islands we are suddenly aware of today. One could wish that prescience had made them include a detailed map of the Phillippines, of the Hawaiian Islands, but detailed treatment is only accorded the Western Pacific in immediate relation to China.
