A reference book for young adults investigating channels of occupational advice, either for the initial choice of a profession or for the difficult problem of change. The arrangement is alphabetical, from Acoustician to Television Cameraman. Each occupation has data broken down into the outlook, the need, what to do, how to get into the field, what should be read or studied in preparation, where it leads, what future it holds, the areas, geographically, where demand exists, and so on. An introductory section shows how to use the book. There are charts for checking aptitudes, and the various factors (physical, mechanical, artistic, etc.) are indicated. Useful, and inexpensive.
