KIRKUS REVIEW

A second volume in the planned series- Adventures in Science Fiction- which takes as its central theme a history of mankind from primeval beginnings to the far away future. Culled from leading periodicals in science fiction, revised and interconnected, this is a generous omnium gatherum of strange scenes and speculations. The first story, A. Bertram Chandler's False Dawn lends literary quality to this genre, and other competent contributors include Fredric Brown, Isaac Asimov, Jack Williamson, Fritz Leiber.
