The author was at one time director of a Berlin Clinic, and has gone to Nazi sources and spokesmen to show how the health of the German people has been affected by the pressure, propaganda and politics. He cites Nazi statistics to prove that there has been increase in drunkenness, insanity, tuberculosis, rickets, venereal diseases, criminality, increased death rate. Visitors may deny these facts because of what they observe. This book probing the surface, reveals a people sapped at the start of a long war. Wide publicity is giving this book a good send-off. More power to it.
