JOHNNY MOUSE OF CORREGIDOR

Judy's father was sent to Manila with our troops, she and her mother were lucky enough to join him for about a year. The eight -year old was lonely until she went to Corregidor for a week-end, here she found her beloved Johnny Mouse who was important throughout her stay in the Philippines. This is an appealing tale of a girl and her pt laid in a part of the world about which our children now know a little. Unfortunately in spots it verges on the appy as when her father calls her ""Daddy's own sweet little girl"". She is normal enough though to have a mean streak during which she accidentally blinds her mouse.
