GOMORRAH

A distasteful little tale of a decaying New York City in the not so distant future, where tourists congregate in a circumscribed Oasis, sallying forth into the surrounding urban blight for such entertainment as wild dog hunts, see-a-crime bus tours or tracking human game in Central Park. Victor Slaughter, crack Psycor agent, is assigned to solve the kidnapping of a liberal woman politician who wants to improve the lot of the populace, known as Dregs. The city itself is one of his adversaries and his truculent superior, who remembers New York's greatest days, is another. Scummy sex and scummier violence are the vehicles for the less than novel political message.
