THE MYSTERY OF THE NIGHT EXPLORERS

City bred Randy is reluctantly introduced to the wonders of nature by his country cousin Jimmy who eventually concerts him to country living. Having built Hidden Lookout, a trhouse for night exploring, the boys keep a faithful\nocturnal vigil in order to observe the habits of night animals. During the day they embark on a treasure hunt that leads to a pair of ante telescopes hidden away for Jimmy by his grandfather. In addition to conqueering his fear of the dark, Randy learns a great deal about fireflies, oppossums, worms, hipmunks and bats. A quietly pleasant summer story set around the routine treasure hunt provides as well the unusual habits of common country ""critters"".
