THE FIRE HOUSE MYSTERY

An unusual mystery for second and third year readers. Nine-year-old Toby O'Connor with the help of Sparks, a fire house dog, tracks down a firebug who had been setting fires in Toby's neighborhood, the East Side of New York. When his grandfather was accused of setting a fire. Toby begins his detective work which leads him into back alleys, the stores of his neighbors and the fire house itself.
