MY FIRST BOOK ABOUT JESUS

A thoughtful selection of incidents from the period of Jesus' ministry, including- in very simple story form- some of the miracles and parables- this spans the time from the carpenter shop to the procession into Jerusalem. Careful omission of anything that might disturb small listeners makes this a good introductory picture story book. The big doublespreads in soft colors by Robert Hatch can be rated plus on the background settings- but minus on the face and figure of Jesus, and the conventionalized human figures.
