KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a Sunday School teacher's book and suffers from all of the literary defects of that breed. Its characters lack reality, the children continuously turn up with profound questions arising from simple incidents and Daddy and Mother answer in indulgent tones with one eye on the Bible and the other on heaven. The children in the story eat it up and always come back for more. Insistently pious fiction for which the audience would have to be captive.
