This is a delightful story of a Swiss boy, of his home life in the village, the responsibilities of the farm work which are naturally his, and the way in which he is fitted to go as a herdboy to the mountains with his uncle in the summer. Good factual material for supplementary reading, told with enough incident and adventure to hold the interest.
