Romance fans lured by the catchy title and cover will be disappointed in this lightly handled melodrama. Jenny is unable to find the right angle for an essay that will win her a dream date with rock star Matt Gates. When her sister uses Jenny for a study on subnormal adolescents, furious Jenny finds the perfect revenge--she slightly alters her sister's A+ paper on the Beatles and submits it to the contest. Of course, she wins; and just as predictable is the dream date, clouded with guilt and the inevitable revelation of the essay's true author. The potential drama of Jenny's apology before a school assembly is never fully realized and the sisters' constant sparring is just plain wearisome. This has about the same emotional depth as Jenny's favorite soap--General Hospital.
