THE YOUNG MARRIAGE by Mary Anne & the Editors of Good Housekeepi Guitar

Email this review

Although the collective authors here contend that this will also serve not-so-newlyweds, young is the operative word here and this is a basic book for them, or more likely her. The coverage is reasonably inclusive from the initial adjustment and assignation of roles (obligations--prerogatives) to the more tangible questions of money management (at some length--also the working wife), the choice of a home, health, in-laws, conception and contraception, and of course sex. A chapter on college and/or subsidized marriages, and a not too discriminating reading list. The Good Housekeeping seal of approval translates to a market acceptability even though this adds nothing new to the something old.
