BEST FRIENDS IN SUMMER

The two half sisters, Co-Co and Suzie, of Best Friends continue their close and often complicated friendship, this time on a Western ranch. Thrust into a community of strange children, the two girls find their closeness threatened. Each finds a new accomplice, and only after extreme confusion on both parts, do they reaffirm their tie to each other, this time in a more meaningful way. Their adventures in ranching, Co-Co's timidity, and her ultimate heroism all contrive to make this an eventful, wholesome, and engrossing story for pre-junior high readers.
