You could say that, when justice is done, farmer Felix is indeed in the clover; but the ill fortune that precedes this terminal turnabout is so egregiously unprompted and unfair (Felix's rich brother, for instance, re-claims a house he deeded to Felix) that luck, one way or the other, doesn't enter into it. And without motivation, that basic component of folktale development, this is just another hillbilly artifice with some nice scrappy Glen Rounds illustrations.
