KIRKUS REVIEW

Mary of Nazareth (Doubleday's list) established the market for this book, which carries the story through the resurrection and its aftermath. Again a difficult subject handled with simplicity and reverence; at the same time an excellent place of historical recreation. The interest is not dependent on having read the earlier book, though this should create an opportunity for plus sales. A good book to put on your special Lenten list.
