THE DARK TOWER MYSTERY

This makes an (un) even dozen mysteries from this author and it's as mediocre as the others have consistently been. Three children (led by a boy named Ronnie who likes to think of himself as Childe Ronald) become concerned about the possible sale of a romantic tower built on a neighboring hill. The beautiful lady for whom it had been built had died there years before in a fire. The police and insurance company hadn't discovered the cause (lack of interest?) but the children bumble their way to the contrived solution. An easy mystery to put down.
