KIRKUS REVIEW

This is an idyllic story of family life on an American farm of a devout Catholic family. It is significant chiefly because of the revelation given of wart the church can mean to growing children. Neither the plot of the story, nor the character delineation could hold the attention, but the descriptive passages and the capturing of the essence of the appeal of the church are noteworthy.
