KIRKUS REVIEW

Mary Chalmers, whose small successes have included A Christmas Story and Here Comes the Trolley Car turns now to forest fantasy with the story of Trilby, a zestful cat in search of adventure in the forest. Trilby finds more than he bargained for when he meets George Appleton, a large and lonely dragon (kissing cousin perhaps of a stegosaurus) who turns out to be a splendid playmate. Although it holds a dragon, this is a little bit of a book.
