THOMAS A. EDISON

A chatty and informal biography of this ""modern Olympian"", the wizard of Monlo Park. There is much more of the man Edison, a genius with all a genius' shortcomings, than in the formal biographies so far published. A human document, filled with auocdotes, with ""close-up"" glimpses of the man, with voluntary contributions from the men with whom he worked and who were willing to slave at his bidding. Many stories I've not run across elsewhere, and a thorough and comprehensive account of the actual groundwork and accomplishments of this extraordinary man. Good reading. Sell for older boys as well as adults.
