KIRKUS REVIEW

A sweet, gentle little book for a very young child's Christmas which tells in easy, quiet words the story of the baby Jesus. Peaceful animals, happy Mother and Father, the beautiful sky, are familiar things a small child knows and loves, and the baby Jesus is seen through the eyes of Mary, Joseph, the donkey and the ox, while the joy of the first Christmas is felt by the lambs and the shepherds on the hills as they hear the song of joy.
