KIRKUS REVIEW

A very slight mystery about a spy (of unnamed country) engaged in sabotage, is strung through the story of young Cherry and her twin brothers in their beloved Nova Scotia home. Legends of the country are sandwiched in between thin slices of mystery and of Nova Scotia atmosphere. Nice feeling for the country, flashes of good dialogue and characterization, help to redeem a rather bloodless story.
