SIR NOBLE, The Police Horse

This can be sold as a factual book, although the material is dressed up in a realistic story of a particular police horse, from colthood on. How a police horse is chosen, trained and the types of work he does. His career was cut out for for him from colthood, but he was very homesick in the early days away from home. He learned to love his tasks and his training, and worked with the master he adored for twenty years. Lots of information for city children about familiar figures in their daily lives. The photographs are good, but not consistent to the story.
