CONVERSATIONS ON THE EDGE OF ETERNITY

By

Publisher: Morrow

This series of conversations on religious--mainly Biblical-- topics are the product of an unusual woman, and are set down as given when she had reached the age of ninety. The tone is informal, sometimes chatty, and the range of topics includes the meaning of Christ for salvation, the thought of Teilhard du Chardin, whether the apostle Paul was a bachelor, and symbolic imprints on pats of home-made butter. The result is pleasant reading, even though the reader may feel that the conversations are taking place at a safe distance from the edge of eternity itself.
