EVERYBODY KAS A HOUSE

By

Publisher: Scott

This plays around an idea that is fundamental even to small children -- that everybody has a house, so where does the dog live, and where does the horse live, and where does the small live, and so on. An animal book in gay, fanciful pictures by Jeanne Badick, with captions in hand-drawn lettering. The pictures are not as simple as the we've been schooled to recently, but they have a sense of rhythm and design that I found a distinct relief. The question and answer pattern of text is a surely popular one with little children. Heavy board binding -- heavy paper.
