KIRKUS REVIEW

There's a moral to Rickie. the rooster's tale. Hatched with three colorful upturning feathers, proud Rickie takes to stealing all the other animals' food until he gets too fat and his tail pops off. Chastened, he diets, makes frienes of former enemies, and grows a more rooster-like tail.
