MAN: THE BRIDGE BETWEEN TWO WORLDS

In an age of specialists it is a refreshing experience to meet Dr. Winkler's well-rounded mind. For thirty years he has practised medicine, and added work in psychology to his healing ministry. His grasp of theology and insights are those which have the newness of the non-specialist who knows the field, and his familiarity with literature, especially the writings of the Graeco-Roman period, is evident throughout. Dr. Winkler has written a book well within the understanding of the average layman, and well within the interests of theologians, clergy and others who are challenged as the author is- toward having a well-rounded knowledge.
