First rate light reading in a story of interchanging personalities. Original, entertaining, smart -- fantasy that becomes realism. Two women, unknown the one to the other, and in utterly different walks of life, chance to wish, in passing, escape from the problems given them into the seeming simplicity of the other's life. Granted -- with unexpected results. A book, that given a good word of mouth start, through bookshop recommendations to customers who will pass the word along, might roll up a good sale and big rental. It's not the type of book that reviewers are likely to play up, but it is exactly the sort of book that bookshops can start. The Rosman market -- the Sylvia Thompson market -- rather than the Sylvia Warner market suggested by the publishers. At any rate that's the way I'd place it.
