DOWNTOWN

Another Retay, Tacy and Tib story -- and a good picture of twelve year olds at a time when a ""horseless-carriage"" was a sensation, when only a few people had telephones in their own houses, and when local stock companies were a pivot of interest to all ages. These stories are tops as live and credible little girl adventure. I think the Loin Lenski drawings are disappointingly stylized and ugly.
