Patsy Prescott, county nurse, takes her personal as well as professional obligations seriously, and an automobile accident for which she feels responsible and in which a prominent artist- Timothy Dane- was injured- makes her feel honor bound to marry him. The arrival in town of Alan Stecle, a new doctor, with whom she really falls in love, only makes her all the more skittish- until Timothy bows out- and she feels free to accept Alan....There's a sanforized as well as sterilized look to this uniform by now- but for some it will be becoming.
