KIRKUS REVIEW

Another rollicking tale about the sturdy Azor, although in this one, there are no conversations with animals -- just long meaningful looks from various animal acquaintances, while Azor is searching for the answer to the terrible question: ""Is there a Santa Claus?"" When Clara, the blue-eyed cow outwitted the Marblehead townspeople and upset no end of folks who didn't understand her willful personality, Azor knew that that was something very special he wanted for Christmas, but his brother Matthew had nastily implied that there was no Santa Claus. How Azor proved that there was makes a jolly story for admirers of animals and Azor.
