KIRKUS REVIEW

A Colorado dude ranch proves anything but wholesome for the guests of Brad and Mary Sloan whose years have already been dogged by disaster- Brad never completely cleared of a murder charge in his youth. The mercy killing now of a heel hired as their wrangler revives the past as well as present romances- regrettable and regretted, and the solution of the crime brings its reward as well as retribution. Tongues- not teeth- do the chattering here.
