KIRKUS REVIEW

Not up to her starter -- Next Year Will Be Different, though she has an easy, light hand, in the Baldwin manner. How a social register girl proves she is more than that, bucking an authoritarian father and a shrewish stepmother, and keeping a promise to her real mother, newly found, which involves her own life, since she could give no alibi when her would-be fiance was murdered the night she found her mother. A stalwart young doctor stands by -- and she is eventually cleared. Tasty light dish. Rentals.
